NEWS AND EVENTS 2018 Lithgow Aged Care Spring Fair The Lithgow Aged Care Spring Fair organised and run by the Lithgow Aged Care Auxiliary was held at the parish hall at Hoskins Memorial Church on Saturday 3 November 2018.
50th Anniversary of the Cooinda building ON the 19th October Lithgow Aged Care celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the construction of the original Cooinda building. Lithgow Aged Care hosted a lovely party with the Residents, their families and friends, Current Board members and past board members, Lithgow Aged Care Members, Auxiliary Committee, current and past employees and invited guest, all enjoyed the lovely sunshine, beautiful food and reminiscing on the good old days.
Back to Hartley Event This year Lithgow Aged Care are the lucky not for profit organisation to be selected to receive the donations from the Hartley Historic Site, Advisory Committee Back to Hartley Event. This event will take place on Sunday 28th October 2018 at the Hartley Historic Site. As part of this event we will be selling raffle tickets, 1st prize is 1 night accommodation for two at Emirates One&Only, 2nd prize 2 nights accommodation for two at Collits Inn and 3rd prize a 3 course lunch for 2 at Ambermere Rose Inn. Notice of Annual General Meeting Lithgow Aged Care Limited Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday 17th October 2018 starting at 5pm. To be held at the Lithgow Workmens' Club, Tank Street Lithgow. Donation from NSW Quilters Guild Heather from NSW Quilters Guild arrived with a very generous donation of handmade quilts for all the beds at Tanderra. The guild is made up of 11 people across the Sydney region who love to quilt, they often have so many that once a year they like to contribute back to the community with donations of their beautiful creations. 2017 Aged Care Approvals round 2017: Please refer to the media release here for important information on the new development. The construction will begin in 2018 and provide 73 extra spaces for ageing residents who require care. Monday 11th December, 2017 -Annual visit from our local Mayor Mayor Stephen Leslie and the CEO will meet with all residents while Mayor Leslie presents all residents with a Christmas gift. All gifts are kindly donated by the Lithgow and surrounding communities. The residents are thrilled to meet with Mayor Leslie after his first year in office. It gives the residents the opportunity to discuss their ideas about the Lithgow Community & our upcoming building project.
